Chili Residents Directory is not a government office or records custodian. We operate a private reference site and cannot retrieve records, certify copies, confirm an address occupant, or change a roll or database. Send those requests to the custodian. For emergencies, call 911. If someone is stalking or harassing you, contact local police.
Looking for a Specific Record?
These are the quickest routes for common Chili record questions:
- A property or a named street: use the Chili street directory process
- Older directory volumes or past households: consult the Chili city directory collections
- One person and a record cross-check: use the Chili resident lookup route
- Custodians behind the records: see Chili resident records offices
- A record not online: send a focused request to the custodian under the New York Freedom of Information Law, Public Officers Law Article 6, §§84–90
Monroe County Clerk public-records office: Monroe County Clerk, 39 W. Main Street, Room 105, Rochester, NY 14614. Phone: 585-753-1600. Hours: Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Email: MCClerk@monroecounty.gov. The Clerk holds deeds and related land records, as well as the records described on its records page.
For Town-held Chili records, use the Town Hall at 3333 Chili Avenue, Rochester, NY 14624 and the Town’s Online Services route. Chili’s FOIL procedure follows Public Officers Law Article 6; a written request can identify the record, address, date range, and record type. The Town may acknowledge, grant, or deny the request within the statutory process, or explain that another office is the custodian.
